Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of InkyCal, a calendar integration service operated at inkycal.decisionboundary.ai ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description

InkyCal connects your Google Calendar to Inky Frame e-paper displays by Pimoroni. The Service provides calendar synchronization, configuration files, and display code for visualizing your calendar events on Inky Frame devices.

Account Registration and Use

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining account security

Google Calendar Integration

• Service requires OAuth authentication with Google Calendar
• You grant permission to access your calendar events and scheduling data
• You may revoke access at any time through your Google account settings

User Obligations

• Lawful Use: Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws
• Account Security: Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and report unauthorized access
• Data Accuracy: Ensure calendar data you sync is accurate and you have rights to access it
• Prohibited Activities: Do not reverse engineer, copy, or use the Service to compete with us

Service Provision

Availability

• Service provided on "as-is" and "as-available" basis
• We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Maintenance and updates may cause temporary unavailability

Support

• Documentation and setup guides provided via our website
• Limited support via email for technical issues

Data and Privacy

• Your Data: You retain ownership of your calendar data
• Processing License: You grant us limited license to process data to provide the Service
• Data Retention: Data retained while account is active plus 30 days for backup
• Privacy: Subject to our Privacy Policy at inkycal.decisionboundary.ai/privacy

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

• InkyCal owns all rights to the Service, code, and documentation
• You receive limited license to use the Service for personal/internal use only

Your Content

• You retain rights to your calendar data and content
• You grant us license to process your content to provide the Service

Third-Party Integrations

• Google Services: Integration governed by Google's terms and policies
• Inky Frame: Hardware provided by Pimoroni under separate terms
• We are not responsible for third-party service availability or policies

Fees and Payment

• Service may be offered free or with paid subscription tiers
• Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law

Termination

By You

• Terminate account at any time by deleting your account
• Revoke Google Calendar access to stop data synchronization

By Us

• May suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations
• May discontinue Service without notice

Warranties and Disclaimers

• Limited Warranty: Service will perform materially as described
• No Other Warranties: Service provided "as-is" without other warranties
• Remedy: Our obligation limited to service correction or account termination with refund

Limitation of Liability

• Our liability limited to fees paid in preceding 12 months or $100, whichever is lesser
• No liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages
• No liability for data loss, business interruption, or lost profits

Indemnification

• By You: Defend us against claims arising from your use, content, or Terms violations
• By Us: Defend you against claims that our Service infringes third-party intellectual property

Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms without notice
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, discontinue use of the Service

General Provisions

• Governing Law: Oregon law governs these Terms
• Dispute Resolution: Disputes resolved in Oregon courts
• Assignment: We may assign these Terms; you may not without consent
• Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect remaining Terms
• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute complete agreement between parties
